Custom Tunnel Door Solution Enhances Safety at PCC Autostructures

WireCrafters collaborated with Bulwark Safety Systems to deliver a machine guarding solution for PCC Autostructures. This manufacturer required secure protection around a row of three machines with wide access needs. The project called for a system that could maintain a high level of safety while still supporting efficient workflow and frequent entry points for operators and maintenance teams. Customer Description
PCC Autostructures needed a guarding solution that could secure a row of three machines while still supporting wide access requirements for their production workflow. The customer required a large, unobstructed entry to all three machines within a single zone, as oversized products needed to be removed safely and efficiently. To accommodate this movement, the application required a twenty-foot sliding tunnel door that would allow forklifts to enter the area without disrupting operations or compromising safety.
