Customer Description
The customer at Nissan Smyrna faced the challenge of creating a fully enclosed area to house a robotic arm system that changes forklift batteries. The enclosed space is needed to ensure maximum safety for employees working nearby and provide an added layer of protection around the robotics. Additionally, they required a hallway within the enclosed area to allow easy and safe access to the equipment for maintenance and monitoring. This presented a unique need for a solution that combined safety, accessibility, and efficiency without disrupting the flow of operations in the busy manufacturing environment.
