A Different Kind of Machine Guarding System

We obviously don’t want to diminish the other machine guarding products we’ve provided organizations for many decades. We created this new product to meet unique market applications, and there are several ways the RapidGuard® II is unique.
The primary reason we believe organizations should consider using RapidGuard® II is for the space and proximity it provides.
Because of the mesh openings on the panels, this machine guard can be mounted within 4.7 inches from the hazardous areas. This is a drastic difference in other systems, which place a person 33 inches away from the same hazard.

For a machine operator or other individuals who work near a hazardous area, 2 additional feet of workspace can enhance their experience and efficiency. Picture a facility overall. An extra 2 feet of space could equate to an additional locker. It could mean the ability to safely hold one more worker on the warehouse floor. It certainly means more open space which should allow for greater ease to move around a machine or work station.
Remember that guarding is often used around all sides of a hazardous piece of equipment. So our machine guarding systems save you much more than 2 feet of space in that case.
The proximity to the machine and also the included lift-off feature guarantees machine operators easy access for machine maintenance. Our Lift-Off design allows you to remove panels while the fixing system (hardware) remains attached to the guard, or post, in compliance with RIA TR R15.406.
