Light Curtain Enclosure Overview

WireCrafters Light Curtain Enclosures are engineered to provide unparalleled safety and efficiency for your industrial operations. Crafted from 3 1/2″ square tube with a 3/16″ wall and a 6″ x 6″ x 3/8″ baseplate, these enclosures offer robust protection for your light curtain systems. Paired with our RapidGuard II panels and posts, they can be integrated into any RapidGuard II system.

Designed to accommodate the customer’s choice of manufacturer and model, including mounting brackets, these enclosures are versatile and reliable. The example pictured here includes the Banner SLLCP23-1190-S (815260) (Emitter & Receiver) EZ­SCREEN LS.

Light Curtain Enclosure Installation & Adjustment


1. Threaded inserts for attachment of RapidGuard II panel.
2. Thru-All access slots to upper and lower Banner light curtain mounting bracket screws.
3. Thru-All access slot Banner middle mounting bracket. (Rotational Y-axis)
4. Thru-All cordset routing holes.


5. Four each 3/8″ Wedge Anchors with two nuts installed. Remove top nut after installation to allow for adjustment with “jackscrews”.
6. Four each 3/8″-16 jackscrews enabling rotational Z-axis and rotational X-axis adjustments.


5. Cont. Slotted holes for wedge anchors to allow for minimal X-axis adjustment.
6. Cont. Jackscrews adjust against an 11 GA sub-plate to prevent placing a concentrated load on the concrete.


7. Y-axis adjustment slots designed to allow for a maximum height of lowest beam to walking surface of 300mm.
