Custom Machine Guarding for Industrial Oven Protection
Project Overview:
WireCrafters worked alongside Steven Engineering to provide a machine guarding solution at 3M’s Corona, California facility, where employee safety around an industrial oven was a key concern. The project required a guarding system that could protect employees from potential burn hazards during normal operation while still allowing easy access for routine maintenance. Using our RapidGuard® II system, the team delivered a configurable, removable solution designed to meet both safety and operational needs within the manufacturing environment.
Customer Description
The customer identified an industrial oven as a key safety concern within the facility. Since the oven was exposed, there was an increased risk of accidental contact and hand burns for employees working nearby. Any guarding solution needed to create a reliable physical barrier during operation, while also being removable to allow maintenance personnel safe and efficient access when required.
